About the layout

Bristol – Gloucester, early 1960s

Coaley made its debut at the Exeter Show in July 2026. It’s based on the Bristol – Gloucester main line, on the site formerly occupied by Coaley Junction.

We feature the changing scene of the early 60s, with both Midland and Western motive power.

We aim to keep a steady stream of trains on the main line, with additional activity in the yard. We normally operate with a team of 5–6 operators.
