Welcome to the Upwey Junction website. The layout is based on the climb out of Weymouth through Upwey and Bincombe tunnel. It is set in 1960 and features typical Southern and Western steam stock of the period. A few diesels are beginning to appear.
The station has a goods yard and small shed to service the Abbotsbury branch which is obviously much more successful in model form than it was in real life!
Exhibition Information
The layout is modelled in 00 - 4mm.
It is 36 feet by 5 feet including operator space.
We aim to keep a steady stream of trains on the mainline with additional activity on the branch and in the yard.
We normally operate with a team of 5.
